Car

From Valparaíso, take Route 68 towards Casablanca. Continue on Route 68 for about 50 kilometers, passing through the town of Casablanca. Once you reach the Casablanca area, follow the signs for Route G-98 towards Tunquen. Drive approximately 10 kilometers on G-98, and look for signs leading to 'Santuario de La Naturaleza Humedal de Tunquen.' You will find a parking area near the entrance. Please note that there may be a small parking fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation

From Valparaíso, take a bus heading to Casablanca from the Terminal de Buses de Valparaíso. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Casablanca, you can transfer to a local bus or shared taxi (colectivo) heading towards Tunquen. Inform the driver that you wish to go to 'Humedal de Tunquen.' The colectivo ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Be prepared for a small fare for both bus rides, totaling approximately CLP 3,000-4,000.
Walking

If you arrive at the Tunquen area by public transportation, you may need to walk the last leg to Santuario de La Naturaleza Humedal de Tunquen. From the drop-off point, follow the signs and paths leading to the sanctuary. It’s a pleasant walk through the natural landscape, approximately 1 kilometer from the main road.
