    To reach Reserva Nacional Lago Peñuelas via public transport, head to the Valparaíso bus terminal and take a bus towards Algarrobo or San Antonio. The bus ride typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Algarrobo, you can catch a local taxi or a shared van (collectivo) towards Lago Peñuelas. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination. The total cost for the bus will be around CLP 2,000 to 3,000 (approximately $3 to $5 USD).     If you're driving from Valparaíso, take Route 68 heading southeast. Continue for about 40 km until you reach the junction with Route 60. Take the exit towards Route 60, which leads to the coastal town of Algarrobo. Follow the signs to Lago Peñuelas. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for Reserva Nacional Lago Peñuelas. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Note that there may be a small entrance fee, so have some cash ready.
