From Viña del Mar, head to the nearest bus stop at Avenida Libertad. Look for buses heading towards Valparaíso. The bus number 601 or 602 will take you towards Valparaíso. Get off at Plaza Sotomayor, which is a central point in Valparaíso. From Plaza Sotomayor, walk towards the ocean and then take the funicular up to Cerro Concepción. Once at the top, walk to Paseo Atkinson, which is about a 10-minute walk from the funicular station.

Take the Metro from Viña del Mar to Valparaíso. Board the Metro at the Viña del Mar station and head towards the Valparaíso station. Once you arrive at the Valparaíso station, exit the station and walk towards Plaza Sotomayor. From there, head towards the funicular to Cerro Concepción. After reaching the top, walk to Paseo Atkinson, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the funicular exit.

If you are already in the central area of Viña del Mar, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Valparaíso. Start at Plaza Vergara and head towards the coastal road, Avenida Marina. Follow the coastline on foot, which will take you to the border of Valparaíso. Continue along Avenida Errazuriz until you reach Plaza Sotomayor. From there, take the funicular to Cerro Concepción and then walk to Paseo Atkinson, which is about a 10-minute stroll from the funicular station.
