If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the city of Pereira, which is the nearest major city. From Pereira, take the Route 29 (also known as the Autopista del Café) towards the town of Filandia. This scenic route is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Filandia, follow the signs to the Mirador Colina Iluminada. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

To reach Mirador Colina Iluminada using public transportation, first take a bus from Pereira to Filandia. Buses depart frequently from the Pereira bus terminal, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Filandia, you can either walk to the Mirador, which is about a 15-minute walk from the town center, or you can hire a local taxi for a short ride. The fare for the taxi should be around 5,000 to 10,000 COP.
