Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, Pereira. Head northwest on the Autopista del Café (Route 29) towards Filandia. After approximately 25 km, take the exit toward Filandia. Continue straight for about 6 km into the town of Filandia. Once in Filandia, follow the signs towards Mirador Colina Iluminada. The mirador is located about 2 km from the town center, up a steep hill. Parking is available at the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Mirador Colina Iluminada using public transportation, take a bus from Pereira to Filandia. Buses leave frequently from the Pereira bus terminal and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Filandia, you can either walk to the mirador, which is about a 30-minute uphill hike, or hire a local taxi for a short ride (approximately 10,000 COP). Confirm with the taxi driver that they will take you to Mirador Colina Iluminada.

Walking
If you are already in Filandia and prefer walking, start from the main square (Plaza de Filandia). Head northwest on Calle 11, then turn left onto Carrera 6. Follow the signs towards the mirador. The trail is well-marked but is steep in sections. It will take you about 30 minutes to reach the top.
