Walking
If you are located in Barranquilla's city center, head north towards Av. del Rio. Walk along Calle 34 and continue until you reach the intersection with Av. del Rio. Turn left onto Av. del Rio and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Shakira Statue will be on your right, located in a park area along the river.
Public Bus
Find a nearby bus stop that services routes heading towards Norte Centro Historico. Board a bus that has 'Norte' or 'Centro' in its destination sign. Remain on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop nearest to Av. del Rio. From there, walk towards Av. del Rio and head right. The Shakira Statue will be visible in about 5 minutes.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and head north. Use the bike lanes available on Calle 34 and follow it until you reach Av. del Rio. Turn left onto Av. del Rio and cycle for about 10 minutes. The Shakira Statue will be on your right. Make sure to secure your bike in a safe location.
Taxi or Ride-share
Request a taxi or a ride-share service from your current location. Provide the driver with the destination: 'Av. del Rio, Norte Centro Historico, Barranquilla.' The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off near the park along Av. del Rio where the Shakira Statue is located.
