As you enter the historic area, look for Calle de la Bóveda which will lead you directly to Las Bóvedas. There is limited street parking available, and you may need to pay a small fee for parking in designated areas.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or a shared taxi (known as 'colectivos') that heads to Cartagena’s city center. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Cartagena (Terminal de Transportes), you can catch a local bus or a taxi to the historic district. Ask the driver to drop you off near Las Bóvedas or look for the nearby landmark 'Castillo San Felipe de Barajas' as a point of reference. The fare for a bus ride is typically around 2,000 COP (Colombian Pesos) and for taxis, expect to pay between 10,000 to 15,000 COP from the terminal to the historic area.
Walking
If you're already in the historic district or nearby, Las Bóvedas is within walking distance of several attractions. From the Plaza de los Coches, head east towards the walls of the city. Continue along the wall until you reach the entrance to Las Bóvedas. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy the beautiful architecture and street vendors along the way.
