Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Centro, the best way to reach the Monumento Torre del Reloj is by walking. Start from Plaza de los Coches, which is a central point in the area. From there, head southeast towards the Calle 30. As you walk, you’ll notice various shops and restaurants, giving you a taste of local life. Continue straight until you reach Boca del Puente. The Monumento Torre del Reloj will be on your left, clearly visible with its iconic clock tower. This walk is approximately 10 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to ride a bicycle, there are rental services available in Centro. You can rent a bicycle near Plaza de los Coches. Once you have your bike, head southeast towards Calle 30. Pedal straight down the street until you reach Boca del Puente. The Monumento Torre del Reloj will be on your left. The bike ride should take around 5-7 minutes. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  For a more local experience, you can take a bus if you're further away in Centro. Locate a bus stop along the main roads that have routes heading towards Boca del Puente. Buses in Cartagena are quite affordable, generally costing around COP 2,000. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to Boca del Puente. The ride may take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. After disembarking, the Monumento Torre del Reloj will be within walking distance.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Taxis are readily available in Centro. Just flag one down or use a ride-hailing app. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Monumento Torre del Reloj at Boca del Puente. The fare should be around COP 8,000-12,000 depending on your starting point and traffic conditions. The journey will take approximately 5-10 minutes.
