Cartagena Mangrove Private Tour
Good for the most part
Pick up 5 stars. Quick and cold aircon. Marcis had great English and was ready at the right time Boat tour 5 stars. Jair the captain operated a smooth ride which we enjoyed. The mangroves are beautiful packed with wildlife. Lots of birds and even some raccoons!! Guide 3 stars. Jose was very friendly and had great English but his choices of conversation weren’t always about the experience and were occasionally graphic. He was a nice man but maybe just stick to talking about animals and birds!! Post trip 3 stars. We sat for quite a while waiting for our transport in a bar. We were offered drinks at a cost but we felt a bit ‘stuck’. We waited about 40 minutes. Overall it’s 4 stars. We would’ve liked to have done the fishing net experience hinted at and maybe a bit of the village. The mangroves are lovely and it’s worth doing!!
