Walking
If you are starting from the Centro Histórico of Cartagena, head to the Plaza de San Diego, a well-known square. From there, walk towards the northwest corner of the plaza. You will see a street named Calle del Jardín. Continue on Calle del Jardín for a couple of blocks until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Media Luna. Turn left on Calle de la Media Luna and continue straight. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will see Las Bóvedas on your left, right near the waterfront.

From any point in the city, you can take a local bus or a 'mototaxi' (motorcycle taxi) to the San Diego area. Ask the driver for Las Bóvedas or San Diego. Once you arrive at the San Diego neighborhood, look for the Plaza de San Diego. Walk towards the northwest corner of the plaza, and you will find Las Bóvedas just a short distance away, along the waterfront.
