If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, Quibdó. Take Route 60 towards Acandí. The journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Once you arrive in Acandí, follow the signs to 'Bahía el Aguacate'. The final stretch involves a short drive along the coastal road, leading directly to the beach area. Please note that road conditions may vary, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
From Quibdó, you can take a bus to Acandí. Buses leave from the main bus terminal and the trip takes around 6 to 7 hours. Once you arrive in Acandí, you can either take a motorcycle taxi or walk to Bahía el Aguacate, which is about 30 minutes away from the town center. Motorcycle taxis are readily available and cost around COP 10,000 ($2.50) for the ride.

If you prefer to walk from Acandí to Bahía el Aguacate, set aside about 30 minutes for the journey. Head towards the coastline from Acandí center and follow the path that leads to the beach. The scenery is beautiful, but be prepared for some uneven terrain.
