If you are driving to Sambú Darien from the city of La Palma, take the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) heading southeast. Follow the signs for Yaviza and continue for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Tucutí. Turn right onto the road towards Tucutí and follow it for about 15 kilometers. You will pass through small villages; keep an eye out for local signs indicating direction. Sambú Darien is located at coordinates 7.986452, -77.829076, which is marked as X5PC+H9M. Parking is available near the site, but be aware that some areas may be unpaved.

To reach Sambú Darien using public transportation, start in La Palma and take a bus towards Yaviza. Buses leave regularly from the main terminal; the fare is approximately $3.
