Public Transportation (Jeep)
From the main square in Salento, you can catch a Willys Jeep (the local form of public transport) to Valle de Cocora. The jeeps leave frequently, around every 30 minutes, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. The fare is approximately 3,000 COP per person. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Valle de Cocora.

If you prefer a more scenic route, you can hike to Valle de Cocora from Salento. The hike is about 11 kilometers and takes around 3 to 4 hours one way.
