Car
If you are driving from the center of Guatape, head southwest on Calle 30 towards the main road, which leads to Medellín. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Autopista Medellín-Bogotá. Merge onto the Autopista heading towards Medellín. After about 50 kilometers, take the exit towards the San Javier area. Follow the signs for Estación Metrocable Juan XXIII, which is located at Cra. 99dd #48f64 in Pilarica II, Medellín. Upon arrival, there is street parking available nearby.

From the main bus terminal in Guatape, board a bus heading to Medellín. The journey typically takes around 2 hours and costs approximately 12,000 COP per person. Once you arrive at the Medellín bus terminal, you will need to switch to public transportation. Take the Metro Line A from the San Antonio station towards Niquía. After four stops, get off at the San Javier station. From there, follow the signs to the Metrocable station. You can purchase a ticket for the Metrocable, which costs around 5,000 COP, and enjoy the ride to Estación Metrocable Juan XXIII.
