Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Guatapé, start by taking the main road (via Guatapé - Medellín) towards Medellín. After approximately 1.5 hours, stay on the road until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Río. Take this exit and continue along Avenida del Río until you reach the junction with Carrera 72. Turn left onto Carrera 72 and drive until you reach the Medellin Aquatic Complex at Carrera 72 # 48-100. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.

  For public transportation, head to the Guatapé bus terminal and take a bus to Medellín. The buses have frequent departures and the journey typically takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Medellín North Terminal, you can take the Metro Line 1 from the station nearby. Transfer at the San Antonio station to Line 2 and head towards Estadio station. From Estadio, it is a short taxi ride or a 15-minute walk to the Aquatic Complex, located at Carrera 72 # 48-100. Expect to pay around 20,000 COP for the bus ticket and an additional fare for the taxi or Metro.
