These buses have signs in their windows that read “Escaleras Electricas”. The fare for the metro is approximately 3,900 COP. The bus will cost around 2,150 COP.

Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available in Medellín. A taxi from the city center (e.g., El Poblado) to Comuna 13 will cost approximately 7,595 COP for a 5km trip. Ensure the driver knows you want to go to the 'Escaleras Eléctricas' in Comuna 13. Note that Uber is technically illegal.
