Walking
If you're already in the town center, you can easily walk to Malecón de Guatapé. Start at the main plaza, walk east along Calle 31, and then turn left onto Cra. 32. The malecón will be approximately a 10-minute walk from the plaza. Enjoy the colorful buildings and shops along the way !
Public Transport
From Medellín, take a bus to Guatapé from Terminal del Norte. The bus will cost approximately 20,000 COP. Once in Guatapé, the Malecón is a short walk from the town center. Follow the main road towards the lake.
Tuk-Tuk
If arriving from El Peñol, tuk-tuks are readily available to take you to the Malecón in Guatapé. Negotiate the fare beforehand, but expect to pay around 15,000 COP for the ride.
