Car
From Guatapé, start your journey by heading southwest on the road towards El Peñol. After about 4 km, take a right onto the road that leads to the Autopista Medellín-Bogotá (Route 60). Continue on this road for approximately 60 km. You will pass the town of Marinilla and continue toward Rionegro. Stay on the Autopista for about 25 km until you reach the exit for Puerto Boyacá. Follow the signs for Puerto Boyacá and take the exit. Once on the local roads, follow the signs to your destination.
Public Transportation
To reach Puerto Boyacá by public transportation, first, make your way to the Guatapé bus terminal. Look for buses heading to Medellín or Rionegro as they often pass through Puerto Boyacá.
