Parque Explora: Medellín's Interactive Science Wonderland

Parque Explora, Medellín's renowned interactive science museum, offers an immersive experience for curious minds of all ages. A highlight of Parque Explora is its impressive freshwater aquarium, the largest in South America. Housing over 4,000 aquatic animals from 250 different Colombian species, the aquarium showcases the rich biodiversity of the region's rivers and oceans. Visitors can marvel at piranhas, electric eels, and the massive pirarucú, the second-largest freshwater fish in the world. The vivarium offers a safe look at some of Colombia's unique species of frogs and snakes.
