If you are traveling by car from Pasto, head north on the Pan-American Highway (Route 25) towards Buesaco. Continue on this road until you reach the town of La Union. From La Union, take the Route 29 towards Salento. Follow the signs to Filandia. Once in Filandia, follow local signs to Mirador Colina Iluminada, which is located on the outskirts of the town. Parking is available near the entrance. Be aware that the final stretch may require navigating some narrow roads.

Public Transportation
From Pasto, take a bus to Armenia, which should take around 3-4 hours. Once in Armenia, transfer to a bus heading to Filandia. The bus ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Filandia, you can take a taxi or walk to Mirador Colina Iluminada, which is located a short distance from the town center. Taxi fares may vary but expect to pay around 5,000-10,000 COP.

If you are already in Filandia, you can walk to Mirador Colina Iluminada from the town center. Head northwest on Calle 8 towards Avenida 3. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the observation deck. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will provide you with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
