If you are traveling by car, start from Villavicencio, the capital of Meta department, which is a central hub for reaching Orinoquía. From Villavicencio, head northwest on Route 40 towards Puerto Gaitán. After about 150 km, you will reach Puerto Gaitán. Continue on Route 40 for another 75 km until you reach the junction with Route 15. Follow Route 15 south towards Yopal. Once in Yopal, switch to Route 60 heading east towards the Casanare department. Continue on this road until you reach Taroa Adventures.

For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Villavicencio to Yopal. Buses frequently depart from the main terminal and the journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arriving in Yopal, you will need to find local transport to continue to Taroa Adventures. This typically involves taking a shared taxi or a moto-taxi, which can take you directly to your destination. The moto-taxi fare can range from 10,000 to 20,000 COP depending on the distance.
