From Plaza de Bolívar in Pereira, take a bus heading towards the 'Cerro Canceles' area. Buses are marked with their routes. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Cerro Canceles and walk a short distance, following signs or asking locals for directions. Bus fare is approximately COL$2,000.
Taxi/Rideshare

Take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber from central Pereira directly to Cerro Canceles. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. A taxi ride from the city center will cost approximately COL$10,329. Expect to pay around COL$17,857 for an 8km trip.
Megacable

You can take the Megacable (Cable Aéreo) from Parque Olaya Herrera to the Las Brisas station in Villasantana. From there, the mirador is located less than 1km away. The Megacable connects the Villa Santana district to the center of Pereira. A Megatarjeta is needed to access the Megabus, and costs COP$6000, which gives you credit for 3 trips. The fare is COP$2,950.

The local government has ambitious plans to further develop the area into a must-see tourist destination in the Coffee Region, with the construction of a main plaza, business and institutional spaces, a walking trail, and an interactive ecomuseum to showcase the history of the indigenous people who once inhabited the area.
