Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Santa Marta beach area, head east along the coastline on Calle 30. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carrera 1. Turn left onto Carrera 1 and walk north. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Parque Bolívar. The park will be on your left, just past the intersection with Calle 16.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Santa Marta bus terminal, take a local bus heading towards the city center. Look for buses marked 'Centro' or 'Centro Histórico'. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to let you off at Parque Bolívar or the nearest stop, which is usually near the intersection of Carrera 1 and Calle 16. From there, walk a short distance to the park.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Santa Marta beach area and cycle along the beachfront until you reach Calle 30. Continue on Calle 30 until you reach Carrera 1. Turn left onto Carrera 1 and continue cycling north for about 10-15 minutes. You will find Parque Bolívar on your left, just past Calle 16. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
