From the main bus station in Tunja, take a bus heading towards Villa de Leyva. The buses are frequent, typically leaving every 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at 'Salida De Villa De Leyva'. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated stop, you will see signs for FIBAS Desert Garden. Simply walk in the direction of the signs.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Tunja. Start your journey by heading towards the main road leading to Villa de Leyva (Route 62). Follow the signs for Villa de Leyva, and you will pass through beautiful landscapes. The ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Villa de Leyva, continue towards 'Salida De Villa De Leyva' where you will find FIBAS Desert Garden.

Walking
Although walking from Tunja to Villa de Leyva is quite a long trek (approximately 35 kilometers), if you're up for it, start from the central plaza in Tunja. Head towards the main road (Route 62) and follow that road which leads directly to Villa de Leyva. It will take around 7-10 hours on foot, so ensure you have plenty of water and snacks. Once you reach Villa de Leyva, ask locals for directions to 'Salida De Villa De Leyva' where FIBAS Desert Garden is located.
