From Villavicencio, take Route 40 towards Puerto Gaitán, then continue to Puerto Carreño. From Puerto Carreño, follow signs to Cumaribo, the closest town to PNN Tuparro. The drive is approximately 10 hours; consider an overnight stay in Puerto Carreño. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition due to rough roads. There are no tolls.

Start at the Villavicencio bus terminal and take a bus to Puerto Carreño (9-10 hours). From Puerto Carreño, take a shared taxi or bus to Cumaribo (1-2 hours, approximately 20,000 COP).
