Walking
From the center of Alamosa, start at the intersection of Main Street and 6th Street. Head south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with 8th Street. Turn left onto 8th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with State Avenue. Turn right onto State Avenue. Continue walking straight; this will turn into CO-17 as you leave the city. Continue on CO-17 for approximately 2 miles. You will see signs for Rio Grande Farm Park on your left side. The park entrance is marked at 6935 CO-17.

If you have a bike, start at the Alamosa Public Library located at 300 Hunt Ave. Head south on Hunt Ave until you reach Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and ride south until you reach 8th Street. Make a left onto 8th Street and continue until you reach State Avenue. Turn right onto State Avenue, which will lead you to CO-17. Continue biking on CO-17 for about 2 miles. Look for the entrance to Rio Grande Farm Park on your left at 6935 CO-17.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the San Luis Valley Transit from the Alamosa Transit Station. Check the schedule for routes heading towards CO-17. Disembark at the nearest stop along CO-17. From there, walk towards the park entrance, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk to 6935 CO-17.
