    Getting There

    Walking

    From downtown Boulder, head west on Pearl Street towards 9th Street. Turn left on 9th Street and walk south until you reach Canyon Boulevard. Cross Canyon Boulevard and continue walking up the Boulder Creek Path, which runs parallel to the creek. Follow the path for about 1 mile until you reach a fork. Take the left fork that leads uphill towards Chautauqua Park. Once you reach Chautauqua Park, continue straight to the trailhead for the Bluebell Road Trail. Take the trail up towards the Flatirons, following the signs for the Boulder Viewpoint. The hike takes approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

    Public Transport

    From the Boulder Transit Center located at 14th Street and Walnut Street, take the HOP bus (route 205) heading towards 30th Street and Colorado Avenue. Get off at the stop for Chautauqua Park. After disembarking, follow the signs to the Bluebell Road Trailhead. This trail will lead you to Boulder Viewpoint, and the hike will take around 30-45 minutes. The HOP bus runs frequently. A one-way fare for the HOP is $2.75.
