Walking

From the center of the CU Boulder campus, the CU Events Center is generally a short walk north. Head north past Farrand Field and the Kittredge Central residence hall. The CU Events Center will be visible to the left, just past the Kittredge complex.

Opened in 1979, the venue has a rich history of sporting events and concerts.Originally named the CU Events/Conference Center, it was later renamed the Coors Events Center in 1990 after a generous donation from the Adolph Coors Foundation. In 2018, the name was simplified to the CU Events Center. The arena has undergone several improvements over the years, including the addition of a maple surface designed to reduce injuries, new video boards, and a 44,000-square-foot practice facility. This practice facility even received LEED Platinum Certification for its sustainable design.The CU Events Center isn't just for sports; it also hosts concerts, conferences, and community gatherings. Its versatile space and modern amenities make it a popular choice for a wide range of events.
