Public Transportation
Start at the Boulder Downtown Transit Center. Board the SKIP bus (Route 204) towards the North Boulder Recreation Center. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at the intersection of Broadway and Iris. From there, transfer to the HOP bus (Route 205) towards the University of Colorado. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the stop near the intersection of Baseline and 9th Street. Walk west on Baseline Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Chautauqua Park entrance. Here, you can follow the Chautauqua Trail up towards the Flatirons. The trail leads to a scenic viewpoint, continuing to Lost Gulch Overlook which is approximately 1.5 miles from the park entrance.
