Getting There

Driving
From Estes Park, head west on US-36. Turn right onto Bear Lake Road. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles. The Moraine Park Discovery Center will be on your left. Parking is available at the center. Be aware that a timed entry permit may be required to enter the park during certain times of the year. A park pass is also required.

Public Transport
During the summer and fall, take the free Hiker Shuttle from the Estes Park Visitor Center to the Park & Ride Transit Hub. From there, transfer to the Moraine Park Shuttle. The Moraine Park Shuttle stops at the Discovery Center. Shuttle reservations may be required. Check the shuttle schedule for the most up-to-date timings and frequency. The Hiker Shuttle requires a reservation ticket available on Recreation.gov.

If you are staying at the Moraine Park Campground, you can walk to the Discovery Center. Head east on Bear Lake Road. The center is approximately a 30-minute walk from the campgrounds. Exercise caution as you walk along the road.
