From downtown Boulder, head towards the Chautauqua Park trailhead. Walk along Baseline Rd. until you see the entrance to Chautauqua Park. From the park, take the Bluebell Road trail that leads up toward Flagstaff Mountain. The hike can be steep but is well-marked, and it provides beautiful scenery along the way. Follow the trail signs, and after about 1.5 miles, you will reach the summit.
