Driving
From Breckenridge, head south on Main Street (Highway 9). Just outside of town, turn left (east) onto Boreas Pass Road (County Road 10). The road is paved for the first 3.5 miles, then turns to gravel. Continue on the gravel road for approximately 6.5 miles to reach the summit of Boreas Pass. Parking is available at the top. Be aware that the road is closed to motorized vehicles in winter, typically from October to May. There are no fees to drive on Boreas Pass Road.

Public Transport
While there is no direct public transportation to the summit of Boreas Pass Road, you can take the Breckenridge Free Ride bus to the southern edge of town. From there, you can walk, bike, or take a taxi/rideshare to the pass. A taxi or rideshare from downtown Breckenridge to the Bakers Tank Trailhead (3.5 miles from town) will cost approximately $15-25. From the trailhead, it is another 6.5 miles to the summit on foot or by bike.
