Frisco Bay Marina: Your Gateway to Dillon Reservoir

The Frisco Bay Marina, located at the eastern end of Frisco's Main Street, serves as the gateway to Dillon Reservoir, a stunning alpine lake surrounded by majestic peaks. Originally established in 1988 through community efforts, the marina has grown into a full-service facility offering a wide range of activities and amenities. Visitors can rent pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards to explore the reservoir at their own pace. Sailing enthusiasts will find Dillon Reservoir to be a world-class destination, with regattas frequently held throughout the summer. Beyond boating, the Frisco Bay Marina offers a sandy beach for relaxation, a playground for children, and waterside dining at the Island Grill. The marina also hosts various events throughout the summer, including concerts, sandcastle competitions, and movie nights. In 2005, the Town of Frisco took over management of the Frisco Bay Marina, and in 2019, the Town of Frisco began significant improvements at the marina, which deepened the bay, enlarged the beach, and improved connectivity in accordance with the Marina Master Plan adopted in June 2018.
