  • Public Transport

    Vail's free bus system provides convenient access to most areas within Vail. From the Vail Transportation Center, buses run frequently to Vail Village, Lionshead, and East and West Vail. Check the real-time bus schedule for arrival predictions and service alerts. The bus is free to ride.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are available in Vail. A 5-mile trip could cost around $14. Taxi fares generally start at $1.40 per mile. Keep in mind that prices may vary depending on demand and time of day.

  • Driving

    If driving, be aware of parking fees in Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures. From May 30 to September 28, parking costs $2 per hour, with the first hour free, and a maximum of $10 per day. Parking is free after 3 p.m. until 4 a.m.. Overnight parking is $60. Free parking is available at Donovan Park, but it is limited.
