You will have a short walk up Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road to reach the entrance.

If you prefer cycling, start from downtown Colorado Springs and head southwest on Colorado Avenue. Follow Colorado Avenue until you reach South Nevada Avenue. Turn right onto South Nevada Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road. Turn left onto Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road and bike up the road to the zoo entrance. The total distance is about 4 miles and will take approximately 25-30 minutes depending on your speed.
