Driving
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is located at 4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. From downtown Colorado Springs, take Cheyenne Boulevard southwest. Follow the road as it turns into Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road. The zoo entrance will be on your right. Parking is free, but can be limited during peak season. Consider arriving early. Taxi or rideshare from downtown Colorado Springs will cost approximately $19-23.

While there is public transportation available, it requires a significant walk. From various points in Colorado Springs, take Mountain Metro bus routes 402L or 66 to the County Line Station. From there, it is still a 49 minute walk (4216 yards) to the Zoo. A single fare for the bus is $1.75.

On-site Shuttle
Once inside the zoo, a guest shuttle is available to help navigate the hilly terrain. The shuttle costs $3 per person for an all-day pass, which can be purchased at the admissions gate (card or cash) or with the shuttle driver (cash only). The shuttle operates daily during summer months and weekends during winter months, weather permitting.
