Public Transportation
Start at the Monument Town Center. Walk to the nearest bus stop on the corner of Washington Street and Beacon Lite Road. Board the Mountain Metro Transit bus Route 38 towards Colorado Springs. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Colorado Springs Transit Center. Once there, transfer to Route 3 towards the Cheyenne Mountain area. After about 20 minutes, get off the bus at the stop closest to Cheyenne Mountain.

Bicycling
From Monument, take the Santa Fe Trail south. Follow the trail until you reach County Line Road. Turn left onto County Line Road and continue until you reach the intersection with Highway 115. Carefully cross Highway 115 and continue on the road until you see the signs for Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance.

If you're up for a long hike, you can walk from Monument to Cheyenne Mountain. Start by heading south on Mitchell Avenue until you reach the intersection with Highway 105. Take Highway 105 south until you reach Highway 115. Continue on Highway 115 towards Cheyenne Mountain.
