From downtown Durango, The Powerhouse is a pleasant walk south along the Animas River Trail. Head south on Main Avenue, then turn east towards the river. Follow the paved trail south; you'll see the Powerhouse on your left after crossing under the Camino Del Rio bridge. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers scenic views of the river. No costs involved.
Public Transport
The Durango Transit offers bus routes that stop near The Powerhouse. Check the Durango Transit website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and routes. From downtown, take a bus heading south along Camino Del Rio. Get off at the stop closest to 13th Street and Camino Del Rio, then walk east towards the river. The Powerhouse will be visible on your right. A single ride fare is $2.
Driving
If driving from downtown Durango, head south on Main Avenue and turn left onto Camino Del Rio. Continue south on Camino Del Rio until you reach 1333 Camino Del Rio. The Powerhouse will be on your right. Parking is available in the Powerhouse parking lot. Parking costs $1 per hour.
