Walking
If you are starting from the Durango Transit Center located at 2500 Main Ave, head south on Main Ave towards downtown. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. As you approach downtown, you will pass several shops and restaurants on your left and right. Keep walking straight until you reach 479 Main Ave. The D&SNG Museum will be on your right, easily identifiable by its signage and the presence of train artifacts outside.

From the Durango Transit Center, take the Route 1 bus towards the downtown area. The bus will make several stops along Main Ave. Get off at the stop closest to 5th St. Walk south on Main Ave for about 2 blocks (0.2 miles). The D&SNG Museum will be located at 479 Main Ave on your left-hand side.
