If you are traveling by car, you can navigate to the Plains Conservation Center (Visitor Center) at 21901 E Hampden Ave, Aurora, CO 80013. From any point in Eastern Plains, head west on local highways or state routes towards Aurora. A common route is to take US-40 W or I-70 W towards Aurora. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for E Hampden Ave. Turn onto E Hampden Ave and continue until you reach the visitor center on your left. There is free parking available on-site.

For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus service to reach the Plains Conservation Center. First, find a nearby bus stop that services the RTD (Regional Transportation District) routes. You may need to take a bus to a major transit hub in Aurora, such as the Aurora Metro Center. From there, transfer to the Route 153 bus, which goes directly to E Hampden Ave. Request to get off at the stop nearest to 21901 E Hampden Ave. Be sure to check the schedule ahead of time, as services may vary.
