If you are driving, start by heading towards Pritchett, Colorado. From Pritchett, take County Road 19 south for approximately 10 miles. You will then reach a fork; keep right to stay on County Road 19. After another 2 miles, you will see a sign for the Preston Boundary Monument on your left. It is a short drive down a dirt road leading to the monument. Please note that the dirt road may require a vehicle with good clearance, especially after rain.

Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to the Preston Boundary Monument. However, you can take a Greyhound bus or a local shuttle to La Junta, CO. From La Junta, you would need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Pritchett, which is about 30 miles away. Once in Pritchett, follow the car guidance above to reach the monument. Be sure to plan ahead, as taxi services may not be readily available in this rural area.
