Getting There

    From downtown Crested Butte, drive south on CO-135 for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto County Road 738 (Brush Creek Road) and continue for about 1.9 miles. The road will turn to dirt. Look for the trailhead parking lot on your left. Parking is free, but the lot is small, so arrive early. During peak season, consider carpooling to minimize parking congestion.

    From Crested Butte, follow the paved bike path south towards Brush Creek Road. The ride is approximately 4 miles and mostly flat. Once on Brush Creek Road, continue for 1.9 miles on the dirt road to the trailhead parking lot. Remember to bring water and be prepared for some uphill sections on the dirt road.
