Driving
From downtown Boulder, take Canyon Boulevard (which becomes Highway 119) west towards Nederland. The drive is approximately 11 miles and takes about 20 minutes. Look for the Boulder Falls sign and a parking pull-out on the left side of the road. Be cautious when crossing the highway to reach the trailhead. Parking is free, but limited, especially during peak times. There are no toll roads on this route.
Public Transport
The RTD bus route NB/NB3 stops at CO 119 & Boulder Falls. From Downtown Boulder Station, take the NB/NB3 towards Nederland. The bus ride is approximately 20 minutes. Check the RTD website for the most up-to-date schedules and fare information. As of July 2025, a single ride costs $3.00.
