Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of the CU Boulder campus, such as the UMC (University Memorial Center), Fiske Planetarium is located to the south. Walk south along the main pathways, past the Norlin Library and the quad. Fiske Planetarium will be visible as a large, dome-shaped building on Regent Drive. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes and is free.

  • Public Transport

    Fiske Planetarium is accessible via several RTD (Regional Transportation District) bus routes. From downtown Boulder or other locations, take any of the bus routes that stop at the CU Boulder campus, such as routes AB, SKIP, or DASH. Get off at a stop along Baseline Road or Broadway, and walk towards the planetarium. A single ride fare is $3.00.

  • Driving

    From US-36, exit onto Baseline Road heading east. Continue on Baseline Road until you reach Regent Drive. Turn right onto Regent Drive, and Fiske Planetarium will be on your left. Parking is available in several lots near the planetarium, including lot 308 to the west. Weekday parking (Lots 306 or 404) costs $2/hour from 7am-7pm. Weeknight parking (Lot 308) costs $2/hour from 5-7pm and $1/hour from 7-10pm. Saturday parking (Lot 308) costs $2/hour from 7am-7pm and $1/hour from 7-10pm. Sunday parking (Lot 308) costs $1/hour from 7am-10pm.
