Driving
From Estes Park, head east on US-36 for approximately 4 miles. Turn left into Hermit Park Open Space. Follow the park road for about 2.5 miles, staying left at the Y-junction and straight at the next junction. Turn right into the Kruger Rock Trailhead parking area. A day-use entrance fee of $9 per vehicle is required to enter Hermit Park Open Space.
Walking
From Estes Park, the Kruger Rock Trail is not easily accessible without a vehicle due to the distance and lack of direct public transportation. Walking along US-36 is not recommended due to safety concerns. Consider driving to the trailhead or using a ride-sharing service.
