Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Estes Park, head east on Elkhorn Avenue (US-34) towards the intersection with Moraine Avenue. Continue on Elkhorn Avenue until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Moraine Avenue. Turn right onto Moraine Avenue and walk for about half a mile. This road will lead you towards Rocky Mountain National Park. Stay on Moraine Avenue as it curves to the left and becomes Mary's Lake Road. Follow Mary's Lake Road for approximately 1 mile, and you will arrive at Mary's Lake. The lake will be on your left-hand side.

  • Biking

    If you are biking, start at the Estes Park Visitor Center. Head east on Elkhorn Avenue (US-34) and turn right onto Moraine Avenue. Continue straight on Moraine Avenue for about half a mile until it curves left and becomes Mary's Lake Road. Follow Mary's Lake Road for about 1 mile. There are bike lanes along the way, making it safe for biking. You will find Mary's Lake on your left, with plenty of scenic spots to stop and enjoy the view.

You can catch the shuttle at various stops throughout Estes Park, like the Estes Park Visitor Center.
