    Public Transport

    From Fort Collins, take the Bustang bus service from the Fort Collins station. The Bustang offers routes to Estes Park. Make sure to check the schedule for the most current timings. Once you arrive at the Estes Park stop, you can walk towards Elkhorn Ave. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to River Walk Park. Head east on E Elkhorn Ave until you reach the park at 470 E Elkhorn Ave.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Fort Collins. Head towards the Poudre River Trail and follow the trail north until you reach the junction with the Cache la Poudre River. Continue along the trail which leads you towards Estes Park. Once in Estes Park, navigate to E Elkhorn Ave and head east until you reach River Walk Park at 470 E Elkhorn Ave.

    Walking

    If you are in downtown Fort Collins, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Estes Park. Start by heading north on College Ave, then take a left onto W Mulberry St. Follow this road which will lead you out of Fort Collins and into the foothills. The walk is approximately 20 miles and may take around 6 hours, so make sure you are prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach Estes Park, head towards E Elkhorn Ave and follow it until you reach River Walk Park at 470 E Elkhorn Ave.
