The brewery has up to 20 beer taps and 8 wines on tap, including their infamous wine slushies, alongside non-alcoholic options and made-to-order food.The brewery's location is within the Camp George West Historic District, which adds a unique historical element. Camp George West was established in 1903 as a permanent training facility for the Colorado National Guard. It served as the primary storage and supply facility for local Guard units and the location of the Guard's summer encampments from 1906 to 1944. During the Great Depression, public works projects expanded the facility. The camp was named after George West in the 1930s, one of Golden's earliest settlers and founder of the Colorado Transcript newspaper. Today, the area is a multipurpose facility.Barrels & Bottles at Camp George West provides a spacious taproom and an outdoor patio that welcomes families and even dogs. The brewery is known for its rustic charm, featuring wooden tables and benches made from reclaimed wood. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a pint with friends and neighbors. The brewery also has another location in downtown Golden, but the Camp George West location generally has easier parking.
