Street parking is generally available but pay attention to posted signs for restrictions. Parking near the Hamill House Museum includes: 1. Parallel parking on 6th Street and surrounding roads (Rose Street, Taos, etc.). 2. Parking lot across from Guanella Pass Brewery, behind Strousse Park. 3. Gravel lot behind Georgetown Coffee and Tea and Ophilea's. 4. Argentine & 11th Parking Lot: Located across from Alpine Restaurant and Georgetown Mountain Inn. Typical parking costs: * Georgetown Annex Parking Lot (1120 Argentine St): Free for 30 minutes, then $0.20/minute.
Public Transport
Georgetown is accessible from Denver via Bustang and Clear Creek County's Roundabout. Take the Bustang West Line from Denver Union Station to Idaho Springs. From Idaho Springs, transfer to the Clear Creek County Roundabout's local route, which serves Georgetown. The Roundabout is free and operates Monday through Saturday. Check the schedule for pick-up times, as buses may be delayed due to traffic or weather. From the Georgetown stop, walk to the Hamill House Museum at 305 Argentine Street.
