Start at the Boulder Transit Center located at 14th St & Walnut St. Board the RTD bus route 204 towards 'Eldorado Springs' and pay the fare. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at 'Gross Reservoir'. From the bus stop, you will have a short walk to the reservoir area. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand for the most accurate timing.

Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Boulder, such as Boulder Cycle Sport. From the shop, head south on 28th St and then turn onto South Boulder Rd. Continue on South Boulder Rd until you reach the intersection with Eldorado Springs Dr. Turn left onto Eldorado Springs Dr, then follow the road as it turns into Gross Dam Rd. Follow Gross Dam Rd for several miles until you reach Gross Reservoir. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
