Getting There

Driving

From Gunnison, head south on County Road 38 (Gold Basin Road) for approximately 3 miles. The main Hartman Rocks Base Area parking lot will be located on the west side of the road. Alternatively, from Gunnison, take Highway 50 west for 4 miles and turn south onto County Road 32, continue for 2 miles until you see a trail kiosk on BLM 3500. There are no fees for day use or parking. Limited parking is available at trailheads throughout the area.
